The Birds are World Champions again. Jalen Hurts is MVP, the Chiefs are down, and Philadelphia is on fire (in the good way).

The 2017 Super Bowl parade was one of the greatest days of my life. Nothing will ever fully top that first one—but the 2025 parade came pretty close. The weather was perfect, the city felt electric, and we had a great spot around Broad and Lombard/Pine with a clear view of the route.

A few players and staff disappeared into the buses before we could see them, but we still caught Nick Sirianni, Jalen Hurts, and plenty of personalities rolling by. CJGJ’s “LIX My Balls” moment was an instant classic—sorry, Swifties.

The Nikon F4 handled the chaos surprisingly well. Autofocus was quick for 1980s tech, though it did miss focus on a few action shots. I wish my Brandon Graham frame was just a bit crisper, but between the cold, the crowd, the drinks, and how fast the parade was moving, I’m happy with the roll. The candid of Vic Fangio ended up being one of my favorites.

What a day. What a season. Go Birds.
